Requirements

  • Higher technical or engineering education (preferably ship engineering, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, or similar)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ship repair or shipbuilding

  • Proven team leadership experience

  • Experience working in shipyards or ship repair projects

  • Ability to read technical drawings

  • Good English language skills (Russian is an advantage)

  • Strong responsibility and leadership skills

  • Excellent negotiation and time-management abilities

  • B category driving license

  • Willingness to travel for international business trips

Job description

  • Organize and coordinate ship repair, refit, and installation works in the ship repair industry

  • Define short- and long-term goals for the ship repair department and ensure successful execution

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the department team

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality and safety requirements

  • Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and material planning

  • Plan and allocate workforce resources across projects

  • Monitor work progress on sites and project performance

  • Track project progress, payments, and resolve operational issues

  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities

  • Conduct client negotiations and contract agreements

  • Solve technical and organizational challenges
