Requirements

  • Higher or post-secondary technical education (engineering degree would be an advantage);
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (experience in ship repair and shipbuilding would be an advantage);
  • Ability to independently plan work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Ability to evaluate various supplier offers;
  • Strong ability to manage, analyze, and structure data effectively;
  • Experience in building databases (preferred);
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical thinking, responsibility, and attention to detail;
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially strong proficiency in MS Excel;
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) – required;
  • Category B driving license.

Job description

  • Ordering materials from suppliers and monitoring order fulfillment (suppliers worldwide);
  • Planning and coordinating procurement processes for projects in Lithuania and abroad, ensuring smooth logistics and on-time delivery;
  • Organizing procurement activities: preparing inquiries, analyzing offers, negotiating prices and terms;
  • Monitoring and analyzing material prices to optimize costs;
  • Improving procurement processes;
  • Sourcing new suppliers (worldwide) and maintaining long-term relationships with existing partners;
  • Preparing and managing supply-related documentation (negotiations, contract terms, invoices);
  • Creating, coordinating, and updating the procurement database;
  • Collaborating with colleagues from other departments to ensure efficient workflow organization.
